Who can join

Each title says exactly what we checked.

Clients see one of two titles on your card. We don't round up: the title names the check we made, nothing more.

How we check itWe look up your CRR number on the RCI register, the public register of clinical psychologists.We review your degree certificates. Counselling psychologists in India have no statutory register to check against, so this is Formind's own check, not a government registration.Psychiatrists can't join Formind yet. This tier is reserved for later.

We add “Dr” only for a doctorate or a medical degree, and we never describe a counselling psychologist as licensed.

Verification

How verification works

A person at Formind checks every application before a profile goes live, usually within 3 working days.

    Apply

    Create your account on practice.formind.in and tell us about yourself and how you practise.

  2. 2

    Send your documents

    Upload your government ID and degree certificates and, if you're a clinical psychologist, your CRR number.

  3. 3

    We review them

    We check each document and look up clinical registrations on the RCI register. If something can't be verified, we tell you which document and why, and you can upload it again.

    Your profile goes live

    Once you're approved, your profile carries the verified mark and the date of the check:

How we verify

Before you apply

What you'll need

Have these ready before you start. You can stop part-way and pick up where you left off.

A Google account with Google Calendar

Required

A psychologist without a connected calendar can't be booked. Until yours is connected, your profile shows “Not taking new bookings”.

We read your busy times so clients only see times you're actually free, and we add each confirmed session to your calendar with its Meet link.

  • Government ID

    In the same name as your degree certificate.

  • Degree certificate

    Your highest qualification in psychology. It sets the title clients see.

  • RCI CRR number

    Clinical psychologists

    We look it up on the RCI register before your profile goes live.

  • A portrait

    Facing the camera, in daylight, against a plain background, with no sunglasses or filters. It's the first thing a nervous client checks.

  • Your own words

    Who you work with, in the first person, and a few lines on how you work. Clients read them in your voice, for example:

    “I work with people who can't switch off after work”

  • A 60-second voice introduction

    Optional

    In the languages you work in, without a script. Clients can play it, or read it instead.

Payment

How you're paid

Clients pay the fee you set. Formind's share comes out of it, not on top of it.

Payouts go to the bank account you add, every [payout cycle]. Each payout shows Pending, then Processing once it's been sent to your bank.

You see your exact rate, and accept it, before your profile goes live.

Anything else: hello@formind.in. A person replies within one working day.

How long does verification take?

Usually within 3 working days of receiving your documents. A person at Formind checks your government ID and degree certificates and, if you're a clinical psychologist, looks up your CRR number on the RCI register. If something can't be verified, we tell you which document and why. Meanwhile you can finish your profile and weekly hours; they go live the moment you're approved. How we verify

Can I set my own fee?

Yes, within Formind's published range of [₹1,500–₹3,500] for a 50-minute session. Clients see the same fee on your card, your profile and at checkout.

Do I have to use Google Calendar and Google Meet?

Yes. Your connected Google Calendar is how clients see your real free times, and every session gets its own Google Meet link.

Can I pause new bookings?

Yes. Turn on away mode: your profile stays visible with “Not taking new bookings right now”, and sessions already booked are unaffected.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

Cancel from Formind Practice. Your client gets a full refund and is shown your next open times.
